Custom solid birch staircase built to replace a carpeted set of stairs during a full condo renovation. Two inch thick treads and stringer. The railing spindles are three quarter inch black metal. The flooring was unfinished solid birch tongue and groove that was sanded smooth after it was installed. The lower staircase was constructed from the same birch flooring. All of the wood was treated with two coats of hard wax finish for a long lasting and easy to repair natural looking finish.
